The eighth commandment, you shall not steal, is simple and clear. God doesn’t want you to take something that is not yours. But when we study God’s word, we see it’s much more than that. At the root of stealing is a rejection of God and His provision. When you steal, you are self-confidently rejecting His provision and protection. That is something the Lord will not take lightly, ever.
