Everyone with a pulse has been worried, maybe you’ve been anxious about something going on in your life right now. But just because someone tells you it’s going to be ok, doesn’t mean you necessarily stop feeling anxious. For anyone ever worried, Christmas is a regularly scheduled reminder that peace is available to us in Jesus. He came to bring a peace that guards your heart and your mind. Isaiah 26:3-4 You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.
We were designed for intimacy with God. As Christmas comes closer we are invited to parties, constantly surrounded by people, but we can still feel alone. It’s possible to be a Christian, and be a part of a church, but still feel lonely. Pastor Ryan Visconti encourages us from the word as he continues our series “It’s Christmas, but...” with the cure for loneliness is intimacy.
As we kick off a new series "It's Christmas, but..." Pastor Ryan Visconti speaks about how Christmas heightens our sense of expectation, but also sometimes leaves us feeling disappointed. Learn to trust God's promise even when you don't understand His process.
