GEN YTH is our youth ministry for 6th-12th grade students. At GEN YTH we believe church should be fun! Because of that, our nights are filled with passionate worship, relatable messages and relational people in an energetic and exciting environment. Every GEN YTH service will include time for students to connect with peers, worship God, hear the gospel and share with their small group. GEN YTH meets on Sunday's from 4:30pm-5:45 at the Mesa Campus and Tuesdays from 7pm-8:15pm at the Ahwatukee Campus. If you have any questions please feel free to email our youth pastors Justin and Delicia Hamilton: email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
We hold mid-week services in Ahwatukee on Tuesday nights at 7pm. Mid-week youth service includes worship, The first Sunday of every month we combine both campuses and gather together at the Mesa campus, transportation from Ahwatukee to Mesa is provided. There will be no mid-week service in Ahwatukee the following Tuesday.
Our church believes that growth can only happen in community. We think this applies to youth as well. All of our youth are placed into a small group that meets each week. These groups are lead by our amazing youth leaders. In these groups, youth can learn about Jesus, share their struggles and victories, and find lasting friendship. (All youth leaders receive background checks)
GenZ is designed to serve as a unique transitional space for students exiting gKids and entering GEN YTH. The goal of GenZ is for middle school students to become exposed to service in the main auditorium, while still hearing a personalized message that is geared towards their current life stage. We also want to give them opportunities to build relationships with peers and mentors.
On Sundays, students will gather in a reserved section in the back of the main auditorium at the beginning of each service for worship, before exiting to the GenZ room prior to the start of the message. The GenZ experience includes worship (in the main auditorium), interactive games with peers, a short teaching from a YTH Leader and a time of discussion.
