Foster Care and Adoption Ministry at Generation Church

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress.

GC Gives: Chosen Christmas

Did you know there are 14,000 children in Foster Care in Arizona? 80 children are removed from their homes weekly in Maricopa County alone. GC’s Chosen Ministry exists to make a difference in these kids’ lives.

We have an incredible opportunity this Christmas to make a huge impact. You can be part of GC Gives: Chosen Christmas! We’ll be providing Christmas for foster kids in GC families and in foster group homes. We’ll also bless the group home workers and local DCS offices. But we need your help.

You can give money, groceries, hygiene items, toys, pajamas, and so much more. Click the buttons below for more info on Chosen Christmas and to get the list of donations needed.

Let's be the Church this Christmas!

Change the world by changing the life of a child.

Following the Bible’s command to care for the fatherless, Generation Church’s Chosen ministry exists to equip families to show the love of Jesus to children and teens in need of foster care and adoption in Arizona.

Generation Church also provides support to foster group homes in partnership with OCJ Kids, a nonprofit serving foster and at-risk children.

  7. Take the Wrap-Around Team Training with your Life Group and create your Wrap-Around Support Team. These will be friends, family, and Life Group partners who will pray for you, cheer you on, and provide practical support such as babysitting, respite care for longer overnight care, family supplies, and practical help like running errands or making meals. When you have needs that aren’t being met, please let your Wrap-Around Team and Life Group leader know.
  8. Impact foster kids’ lives forever! Studies show the number one difference between foster kids who succeed and foster kids who fail is the presence of one person who they felt truly cared about them, even for a short time. You and your family can be that person!
